“A Garden in Bloom”: where hope takes shape in clay

Lne Thun Foundation: clay gives shape to dreams

04.04.2025

On April 4th, we inaugurated “A Garden in Bloom!” at the Regina Margherita Children’s Hospital in Turin:
a beautiful collective artwork created by children receiving treatment in the Pediatric Oncology and General Pediatrics wards during our ceramic therapy workshops.

It was a deeply emotional moment, celebrated together with our Founder Peter Thun, Director Paola Adamo, the Foundation’s volunteers and supporters, the young artists and their families, and the hospital’s medical staff, including Thomas Schael (PhD), Commissioner of A.O.U. Città della Salute e della Scienza di Torino, Giovanni Messori Ioli, Commissioner of the Regina Margherita Hospital, Dr. Franca Fagioli, Head of the Department for Pediatric Care, and Dr. Lovera, Head of the Humanization Department.

“A Garden in Bloom” symbolizes the strength, creativity, and resilience of those who, despite illness, continue to nurture their dreams with hope.
Clay, in the hands of young patients, becomes a tool to express emotions, ease the healing process, and give space to creativity and freedom along the path to recovery.

We are truly grateful to all the medical staff, volunteers, young artists, their families, and everyone who makes this possible every day.
